Overview
Cet ouvrage regroupe les items de l'internat en pharmacie du nouveau programme de 2010 portant sur la bactériologie et la virologie. Il se compose de deux parties complémentaires l'une de l'autre. La première partie traite de manière synthétique des différents syndromes rencontrés en infectiologie en développant leur diagnostic clinico-biologique, les principales étiologies et la conduite à tenir selon les dernières recommandations nationales ou internationales.
La seconde partie s'articule autour des différents germes, bactéries et virus, en précisant les caractéristiques utiles à leur identification, les facteurs de pathogénicité et les traitements adaptés. Ces chapitres ont été conçus afin de facilité l'apprentissage et la mémorisation. Sa construction permet d'aborder l'infectiologie selon deux approches, que l'on s'intéresse à un syndrome infectieux et aux principaux germes qui en sont responsables, ou à un germe en particulier pouvant lui-même provoquer différents syndromes infectieux cliniquement distincts.
En plus d'être destiné aux étudiants préparant l'internant en pharmacie, le large éventail de pathologies et d'agents infectieux abordés dans cet ouvrage lui permet de constituer un support qui intéressera les étudiants ou internes en médecine ou pharmacie souhaitant avoir une base solide dans le domaine de l'infectiologie.
